K-pop idols 2PM heated up their fan meeting with their fan club "HOTTEST" over the weekend, making it the second time meeting with their fans since their debut two years ago. At Kwangwoon University in Seoul on Sunday, over 2,000 local and international fans turned up at the second fan event which kicked off with the six-member boy band taking the stage to sing their latest hit “I’ll Be Back.” “We have prepared a lot for our ‘HOTTEST’ today and we hope that you enjoy your time with us,” said 2PM’s Junsu as he and the other members greeted their fans. Various events took place including a special quiz segment in which selected fans went on stage to answer questions regarding the members. The meet-and-greet continued with a special guest performance from JYP Entertainment labelmate San-E who took the stage with members Wooyoung and Junho followed by their duo performance of song “Delicious San,” Chansung gave his rendition of songstress Lee Eun-mi's ballad "Such Sorrow," Nichkhun and Taecyeon sang “My Valentine” and Junsu’s took the stage for a duet with Lim Jeong-hee for his song “Don’t Go.” The boys then wooed fans with their group performance of ballad track “I Can’t” from their latest album “Still 2:00PM” followed by a special video featuring 2PM’s cat Junggami. 2PM once again took the stage for songs "Heartbeat" and "Thank You." The show wrapped up with an encore performance of their debut song "10 Out of 10" and the group thanked their "HOTTEST" fans for coming to the event. "We hope that you all enjoyed your time spending your Sunday with us and we will work hard to become a better 2PM!" 2PM has been one of the most popular boy bands in Korea since their debut in 2008, holding numerous hits under their belt including “10 out of 10,” “Again & Again,” “Only You” and “Heartbeat.” They expanded their singing career into Japan with the release of their DVD “Hottest ∼ 2PM 1st MUSIC VIDEO COLLECTION & The History ∼” in Japan last November followed by a large showcase event a month after in Tokyo's Ryokoku Kokugikan which attracted over 25,000 local fans. The boys are set to reveal their first Japanese single titled "Take Off" on May 18 and then work on releasing their local album due out in the latter half of the year. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
