Shin Hye-sung to release new full-length album in June

Korean singer Shin Hye-sung will release his fourth full-length album in June, according to his agency Liveworks Company on Wednesday. Liveworks announced in a press release that Shin, whose last full-length album went on sale two years ago, will make a comeback to the music scene in Korea with his new album in June and set off on a tour in Asia which includes countries Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China the following month. He was originally set to unveil the album in late-February but halted all recording activities after suffering from problems to his vocal chords. "We want to start off by apologizing to the fans of Shin who have waited a long time for his album," an official from Liveworks was quoted as saying. "The health of our artists is our priority and Shin will go back to recording the album as soon as he is better."His agency also stated that Shin made a donation of 30 million won to support and assist regions affected by Japan's massive earthquake which hit the country two weeks ago.Born Jung Pil-kyo, Shin Hye-sung made his debut as one of the main vocalist for the popular boy band Shinhwa in 1998.
