CNBLUE’s 1st album receives over 100,000 pre-orders

Idol group CNBLUE has received 100,000 pre-orders for their first regular album set for release next week, according to their agency FNC Music on Thursday. A press release from FNC revealed today that CNBLUE’s promotion of their first regular album “FIRST STEP” since last month has paid off, resulting into 100,000 pre-orders prior to its official release next Monday.During the past two weeks, the four-member boy band had released a teaser photo and two teaser clips for the music video of their new title track from the album.“The fact that it has been a while since the group released a new album and that too being their first regular album, helped to boost orders but even we ourselves didn’t expect them to reach 100,000,” an official at FNC also said through the statement. On the day of the album's release, CNBLUE will hold a press conference at Times Square M Pub in downtown Seoul and give a live guerrilla concert outdoors for fans where the boys will showcase their new songs for the first time.Composed of members Yong-hwa, Jung-shin, Jong-hyun and Min-hyuk, CNBLUE made their debut in Korea early last year with their hit single "Alone" and mini-album "Bluetory" after releasing two singles in Japan and emerging No.1 on the category at the prestigious Oricon Indies band weekly chart.
