Eric Clapton to hold concert in Korea next year February

Legendary guitarist and singer Eric Clapton will hold a concert in Korea next year as part of his world tour celebrating the release of his new album "Clapton." On Monday, the concert's promoter Nine Factory announced in a press release that Eric Clapton will be in the Korea for the third time for his concert titled "Eric Clapton Live in Seoul" to be held at the Olympic Stadium on February 20 of next year. Eric Clapton is a Grammy Award-winning British musician of the blues, rock and jazz. Before pursuing a solo career, he was in several bands during the mid-60s and early 70s including the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominoes. He has led a successful career, becoming the artist first to be inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times, ranking in at No. 4 on Rolling Stone's Magazine of "The Greatest Guitarists of All Time" as well as being famous for his hits including "Layla," "Wonderful Tonight," "Change the World" and "Tears in Heaven." Tickets for Eric Clapton's concert will be available starting November 23 at online reservation site Interpark (www.interpark.co.kr).
