Korea’s top management firm SM Entertainment is activating their Twitter and Weibo accounts to communicate with overseas fans.
The firm opened its global Twitter (http://twitter.com/smtownglobal) and Weibo account [A Chinese social network service brand] (http://weibo.com/smtown) Wednesday.
The officials said in a press release this morning that the firm will update news on its artists in English and Chinese through both platforms. The company has already been posting the SM-related news and notices on their official Facebook account (http://www.facebook.com/smtown).
Meanwhile, SM hosted a private party attended by its affiliated idol stars, TV personalities, actors and actresses on Tuesday. Pictures of "SMTOWN Celebrity Party" revealed by the firm show Girls' Generation, SHINee's Minho and Key, Super Junior, actor Jang Dong-gun, actress Kim Ha-neul and comedian Shin Dong-yup.
Bringing more good news to its overseas fans, SM’s artists are set to hold "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III" in Singapore and Thailand next month. The show will open at the The Float at Marina Bay in Singapore on November 23 and at the SCG Stadium in Bangkok two days later.
