Korean ballad singer Lee Ki-chan is revving up to bring his sweet melody in Japan and Korea.
Breaking out from his four-year hiatus, the musician released his first Japanese single “Convince Myself” on October 17, his official website showed Friday.
The album release is the only the first of his promotion this year, as he will be hosting a mini-concert alongside actor Lee Joon-gi for the 2012 K-FOOD & MBC Drama Festival opening at Tokyo's K-Plus on October 19.
During his week-long stay, Lee is planning to have several more promotional events including mini-concerts and autograph sessions at the same venue and Tokyo's Tower Records on October20.
His hometown is the next destination for launching new activities. Kim will drop the Korean-language version of the Japanese single on November 1. To commemorate the event, he will hold a comeback concert at Seoul Lotte Hotel World’s Crystal Ballroom on November 10.
Lee Ki Chan broke into the music scene as a teenage singer with his first album “Na Na Na Na Nineteen” in 1996. He has since scored several hit ballad numbers such as “Please,” “Glass," “Another Love Goes By” and most recently “Cold.”

Since February, “A Beauty” singer has participated in the original soundtracks of some of the most successful dramas here, such as “Moon Embracing the Sun” (MBC), “Phantom” (SBS) and “Tale of Arang” (MBC).
