Kim Hyun-joong’s upcoming drama “City Conquest” will excite its Japanese fans by hosting a large-scaled production report conference for the in Japan next month.
The drama’s conference will be held at the prestigious Budokan in Tokyo on October 4, according to a press release by the show’s promoter Feelboy Company Tuesday.
The upcoming event is expected to make more noise for "City Conquest" in the country by bringing a number of 16,000 Japanese fans and about 400 reporters from major Japanese broadcasters there, such as NHK, TBS, and Fuji TV.
Along with the main casts of the drama, Kim Hyun-joong and Jeong Yumi, attend next Thursday's event, a ceremony that celebrates the first anniversary of Kim’s Japanese fan club is also set to open as well.
During the conference, a trailer for “City Conquest” will be unveiled to the public for the first time and Kim and Jeong will introduce their drama themselves.
"City Conquest" goes around the story of an orphan named Baek Mir. To portray the character, Kim will reveal his wildness while showing onscreen love with Jeong.
In the meantime, an official of the promoter told the magazine that they will announce later this year about on which channel "City Conquest" will air.
