Korean boy band INFINITE's showcase DVD made its glorious debut at No. 1 on Oricon's chart, according to its official website Wednesday.
INFINITE's "THE MISSION," which features the group's fast-paced showcases held in five cities here in just one day, came in the first place on Oricon's daily DVD chart on the day of its release, Tuesday.
The chart-topping DVD mainly shows clips from their five showcases opened in Gwangju, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon and Seoul on May 15. It also captures live performances of their latest hit tunes "The Chaser," "Only Tears" and "Be Mine."
Questions and answer sessions hosted during the event and behind-the-scene footage are also special features included in the new release.
On May 15, INFINITE members rode around in a helicopter to visit five cities to actively promote the third mini-album "INFINITIZE."
The group recently wrapped up promoting the title track "The Chaser" on televised music programs and is awaiting for the release of their next Japanese single, "She's Back," which will hit the shelves on August 29.
Composed of Sung-kyu, Dong-woo, Woo-hyun, L, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong, INFINITE made their official debut with the first studio album "First Invasion" in June 2010.
The "Be Mind" singers are popular with their powerful dance moves and hit songs under their belt such as "Come Back Again," "Before the Dawn (BTD)," "She's Back," "Nothing's Over," "Paradise" and "The Chaser."
