FNC Entertainment, the company in charge of managing FTIsland and CNBLUE, has revealed a member of their upcoming female idol group AOA.
FNC Entertainment revealed a photo of Seolhyun on the group's official website on Monday, the first to be revealed from the eight members of AOA, which stands for Ace of Angels.
Seolhyun, which is short for Seolhyunari, the angel of wisdom, is donned in a white dress with angel wings in her back. Seolhyun has already made her public appearance by playing the female character in FTIsland's music video for "Severely," alongside the frontman Lee Hong-ki early this year.
As her outfit and the overall concept infers, AOA is a group debuting under the special theme of 'angels.' The officials said they will reveal the remaining members, one in each day at 2 p.m. KST until next Monday.
FNC is well known for managing the careers of boy rock bands CNBLUE and FTIsland and debuting female solo artist Juniel recently.
CNBLUE and FTIsland's music has been well-received by overseas fans and both groups have performed at several sold-out concerts in other Asian countries.
