Girls' Generation's sub-unit group TTS has taken back their crowns as the queens on Gaon's singles chart.
After two weeks of watching songstress IU enjoying her reign on the chart, TTS -- also known as Taetiseo in Korea--has reclaimed their seat atop the singles chart last week, according to Gaon's official website on Thursday.
It was not an easy road for the girls, however, moving up seven rungs after beating out other competent singers of the week, such as Baek Ji-young, G.NA and LeeSSang.
Their feat last week is more meaningful to the members -- Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyeon -- as last Sunday, June 3, was the last day of the Girls' Generation's first unit activities.
Following the twinkling stars on the chart is G.NA, who made her cameback on May 22 with 6-track set that is expected to make her bloom in the mainstream music scene this summer.
While "2HOT," G.NA's title off the third mini-album "BLOOM," stayed at No. 2 spot last week, last week's chart-topper IU slid down two spots to No. 3.
Like her previous hit songs, her title song "Every End of the Day," embraces her unique next-door-girl-like charm and pure image.
Other songs on her single "The Spring of Twenty" are doing not too bad on the chart as well, with her self-written song "Peach" sitting at No. 29 and "I Don't Like Her" at No. 44.
Additionally, Korean hip-hop duo LeeSSang maintained its fourth place with "My Love," a post-breakup song with a medium-tempo acoustic guitar melody.
Closing out the top five is Baek Ji-young's new dance track "Good Boy," which came down two rungs from the previous week.
Other K-pop songs in the top ten are comedian singing group Brave Guys' "I Don't Care," LeeSSang's "Someday," featured by YB band, Chung Hyung-don and Defconn's "Olympic Expressway," Baek Ji-young's "Voice" and "ULALA SESSION's "Beautiful Night."
Over on the album chart, meanwhile, boy band B1A4 debuted atop the list with their special album, "THE B1A4 I IGNITION" between May 27 and June 2.
INFINITE's third mini-album "INFINITIZE" came next after moving up a spot from No. 3 the former week, and girl group 4minute's third mini-album "Volume Up" rounded out the top three after climbing up 55 spots.
