Following the successful result of previous Japanese singles, 2PM's fourth Japanese single has made its debut within the top three on the prestigious Oricon music chart.
Oricon's official website showed Thursday that 2PM's latest release "Beautiful," which went on sale on June 6, sold 73,529 copies and came in second place on its daily singles chart.
Produced in three different editions, "Beautiful" includes the title of the same name that has an addictive hook. The song is currently being played as the background song for a Japanese TV commercial as well.
2PM, composed of Nickhun, Taecyeon, Chansung, Junsu, Wooyoung and Junho, made their debut in Japan in November, 2010.
The boys recently released their greatest hits album in the country in March which fared well on Oricon's music charts.
Recently, 2PM held successful rounds of their concert at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, last month with extra shows held at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, their documentary featuring live performances of "JYP Nation in Japan 2011" is finally hitting the theaters on June 30.
Titled “Beyond the ONEDAY~Story of 2PM & 2AM," its debut partner group 2AM will appear in the documentary as well, with backstage footage and in-depth interviews included.
