Korean actor Lee Dong-gun will be discharged from his military duties this week, according to a press release from his agency Mask Entertainment.
On Tuesday, Mask announced that Lee will have completed his mandatory two-year military service, which is required of all Korean men, on March 28.
Lee entered the military in June 2010 and has been active as a celebrity military officer in Korea's Defense Media Agency.
Lee made his debut as a singer in 1998 and rose to stardom after starring in TV series "Lovers in Paris" (SBS, 2004), "Sweet 18" (KBS, 2004) and "Smile Again" (SBS, 2006).
He has also made several big screen appearances including "My Boyfriend is Type B" (2005) and "Love Now" (2007).
