Korean songstress IU has spend a third week at No. 1 on Gaon's singles chart with her latest song, according to the data by Gaon on Friday.
IU's "YOU&I," from her second studio album "Last Fantasy" which was released on November 29, has been the most popular song during the week of December 11 to 17.
IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, made a successful return to the music scene with "Last Fantasy" with all of its songs ranking within the top ten of online music charts and taking home several wins on televised music programs.
Cube Entertainment's duo unit Trouble Maker, composed of 4minute's Hyun-a and BEAST's Hyun-seung, kept their position at No. 2 with their dance tune "Trouble Maker" and singer Huh Gak's digital single "Everytime I Hear This Song," featuring LE(EXID), shifted up six spots to third place.
Meanwhile, SM artists' English-language Christmas album "2011 SMTOWN Winter `The Warmest Gift'" entered Gaon's album chart in first place.
"The Warmest Gift" is composed of 11 songs including seven new Christmas songs featuring the track "Santa U Are The One" by Super Junior as well as other Christmas carols by Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, TRAX, The Grace-Dana&Sunday, Girls' Generation, SHINee and f(x).
Six-member boy band Boyfriend's third single "I'll Be There" also made its debut on Gaon's chart at No. 2 followed by veteran singer Yim Jae-beum's special release "Free."
