A Japanese smart phone application featuring Korean female girl groups KARA and Rainbow have been released, according to their agency DSP Media on Wednesday.
DSP announced through a press release that the application will become available online today through portal website Naver Japan.
KARA's application will feature all their songs such as their debut song "Mister" and recent tune "Winter Magic." It will also include their music videos, profiles of each member, photographs and their upcoming schedules.
Rainbow's application too will contain their songs, music videos, profiles and up-to-date news on their activities.
KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market.
The girls recently had their second full-length Japanese album "Super Girl" become certified platinum and will take part in NHK's 62nd music special "Red & White Song Battle" on December 31.
Rainbow, who made their debut in Korea in 2009, found success in the Japanese music scene with their debut single "A" which placed atop Japan's prestigious Oricon chart in September.
The girls will kick off their first Japan tour over the weekend to promote their second Japanese single "MACH."
