Big Bang takes a picture with rock legends Queen

Korean idol Taeyang of boy band Big Bang has posted a picture of his group with rock legends Queen.

On Monday, Taeyang tweeted the group photograph with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor taken at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards with a comment below saying, "with QUEEN."

Both artists were in attendance for the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards held in Belfast on November 6, where Big Bang won the award for best worldwide act and Queen was honored with the global icon award.

Queen also took the stage for a special performance to mark the 40th anniversary of the group's formation in 1971.

Big Bang is preparing for the “15h Anniversary YG Family Concert,” also featuring labelmates 2NE1, Se7en, Gummy, PSY and Tablo, set to take place at the Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul on December 3 and 4.

Known as one of the biggest names in the music industry, Queen has released a total of 18 No. 1 albums, 18 No. 1 singles and 10 No. 1 DVDs and have sold over 150 million albums worldwide. They have been honored with seven Ivor Novello Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
