K-pop female idols Girls' Generation took home their first win since their comeback on cable music channel Mnet's "M!CountDown" last night.
The girls' latest title track "The Boys," from their third full-length album, was named the winner against Kim Hyun-joong's "Lucky Guy" and Secret's "Love is Move."
"We can't believe that we scored our first win since our comeback," Girls' Generation member Jessica said in their acceptance speech and members Sunny and Yuri expressed their gratitude to their fans SONE [official name of Girls' Generation's fans] and everyone at SM Entertainment.
Other performances on Thursday's show included INFINITE, U-KISS, FTIsland, Kim Kyu-jong, Kim Bo-kyung, B1A4, M.I.B, MYNAME, Orange Caramel, Kim Wan-sun, Huh Gak and Davichi.
Girls' Generation, composed of other members Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun, Yoona and Sooyoung, made a successful return with "The Boys" which topped online music charts upon its release on October 19 while the music video for the song has reached over 13 million views.
