Korean trio JYJ will visit Europe for their first-ever concerts in Spain and Germany, according to the group's promoter Prain Inc.
On Monday, Prain announced in a press release that JYJ will take the stage of the prestigious Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain on October 29 and then the Tempodrom in Berlin, Germany on November 6.
"The agency had received endless requests for JYJ to perform in the Eastern, Western and Northern Europe countries after the group released their world album 'The Beginning' last October," an official from C-Jes Entertainment explained in the statement.
"We are deeply moved and excited at the idea of preparing for a concert in front of fans that we haven't met before and taking to stages of countries that we haven't performed in yet," the members of JYJ were quoted as saying. "We hope to show our fans in Europe a great performance.
JYJ, composed of members Park Yuchun, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu, were formerly of quintet TVXQ, K-pop's most popular and successful boy band in the Asia region.
They broke off from the group however and started a separate singing career in October 2010 for which they have continued to promote themselves back home and overseas.
Recently, the boys have been busy with their individual activities and fulfilling the duties as the goodwill ambassadors for UNAIDS' Asia-Pacific region.
