Shindong admits getting double eyelid surgery

Boy band Super Junior member Shindong has gotten double eyelid surgery, the idol star himself admitted on Monday.

On his me2day account, Shindong posted up a link to an article saying fans are suspicious of him having received double eyelid surgery and wrote after it, "[laugh] This heated response! Thank you. I'm glad I did it. It's been a while since I've got them done so thank you for the reaction. At least I'm being told I look cooler when on stage and funnier on variety shows which helps with my diet!! Thank you all!"

On a posting that followed an hour later, he wrote, "What's this... Some are saying they can't even tell... Well... I got them done on purpose but they don't show?? Should I have gotten them done thicker?? Some are saying this is hilarious... And some are against me having done this. I'm sorry... I can't get them undone now."

Shindong, the heaviest member of his group composed of lean and fit singers, has been on a diet to lose weight while promoting their fifth full-length album "Mr. Simple" released early this month.

A member of the highly popular Super Junior which has released numerous hit records and songs including "Sorry, Sorry," "It's You," "Rukkugo" and "BONAMANA," Shindong has also appeared on various entertainment programs as well as hosting his own radio show with KARA member Gyulee.
