"Babyfaced Beauty" makes proud exit atop TV charts

KBS TV series "Babyfaced Beauty" finished its two-month run on a high note, bowing out of the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup after staying atop TV charts for the fifth straight week.

Data from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday reported that "Babyfaced Beauty," starring Jang Nara and Choi Daniel, was the most-watched show this week after posting an average viewership rating of 15.9 percent, an increase of 1.3 percentage points compared to the previous week.

Numbers released by AGB Nielsen Media Research too showed that the romantic comedy brought in an average rating of 16.1 percent which is a rise of 1.6 percentage points from last week's score.

The final episode of "Babyfaced Beauty" focused on how Lee So-young (Jang) and Choi Jin-wook (Choi) got married even though both their families disapproved of their relationship because of their seven-year age difference.

"Spy Myung-wol," starring Han Ye-seul and Shinhwa's Eric, will take on the Monday and Tuesday slot starting next week.

MBC's "Miss Ripley," starring Lee Da-hae, Kim Seung-woo, Park Yuchun and Kang Hye-jung, came in second place with average viewership ratings of 10.6 and 13.4 percent on TNmS' and AGB's survey, respectively, showing no significant change in numbers from the previous week.

SBS' new historical series "The Warrior, Baek Dong-soo," featuring Ji Chang-wook and Yoo Seung-ho, trailed behind with viewership ratings averaging in the nine to ten percent range on both charts.
