Korean girl group 2NE1 formed a special bond on member Park Bom's birthday yesterday.
Park Bom, who turned 27, posted a photograph on her official me2day on Thursday showing four hands wearing identical rings on a finger each, followed by a comment saying, "The four of us got matching rings together~~^^ We are currently celebrating my birthday~~our leader wants us to be together forever~~*^^*Our rings are engraved with the word 'Forever'o(^▽^)o I really wanted it..doesn't the hand on top look chubby?"
Over 700 fans have left responses on the post such as, "Happy birthday Bom unni! The rings are so pretty!" "Forever 2NE1! FIGHTING!" and "Hope you had a great birthday with the other members! Happy happy birthday!"
Composed of other members CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, 2NE1 made their debut in May 2009. They have released a score of hit songs including "Fire," "I Don't Care" and "Try to Follow Me."
The quartet made a successful comeback to the music scene in September last year with the release of their first full-length album "To Anyone." They topped a number of online and offline music charts with their title tracks "GO AWAY," "CLAP YOUR HANDS" and "CAN'T NOBODY" which they promoted simultaneously.
The girls were set to make their official music debut in Japan with their debut single "GO AWAY" earlier this month but have delayed their plans following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that has left at least 21,000 people dead or missing and thousands homeless.
