Boy band BEAST's remake of Japanese artist Masaharu Fukuyama's song went on sale starting today.
The song whose title is translated into "Rainbow," is a remake of Fukuyama's 2003 hit song "虹" which stayed atop Japan's prestigious Oricon singles chart for five weeks straight.
The song will be included in Fukuyama's best album titled “THE BEST BANG!! -ASIA LIMITED BANG!!” where other Korean singers sang to the remake versions of his past hit songs during 20 years.
Participating artists include songstress Lim Jeong-hee, boy ballad band 2AM and Joohee of group 8eight from Big Hit Entertainment, boy band Beast and songstress G.NA from Cube Entertainment, ballad singer Tei from Fluxus Music, Youngjee of group Bubble Sisters from Universal Korea and Ban Kwang-ok who was one of the contestants to music cable channel Mnet's music reality competition SuperstarK 1.
The upcoming album, featuring a total of eight songs, will be released in Korea and in five other countries simultaneously on April 6.
