Korean actors Hyun Bin and Lim Soo-jung will be leaving for the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival next week.
"Both Hyun Bin and Lim Soo-jung will be departing from Korea on the 15th to attend the 61st Berlin International Film Festival held in Germany," an official from Hyun Bin's agency told 10Asia over the phone on Friday. "They will be there for their movie 'Come Rain, Come Shine' and meet with various international media outlets for interviews."
"Come Rain, Come Shine," helmed by director Lee Yoon-ki, tells about a married couple (played by Hyun Bin and Lim) who have been married for five years but get ready to separate after Lim's character falls in love with another man.
The movie will be competing with 15 other feature films for the top honor of the Golden Bear, while eight other Korean films will be screened at the fest including "Late Autumn" which also stars Hyun Bin and Chinese actress Tang Wei.
The Berlin International Film Festival, which kicked off yesterday and runs till February 20, was founded in 1961 and is considered one of the most prestigious film events in Europe alongside Cannes, Venice and Rotterdam.
The fest features about 400 movies under several different categories including competition, panorama, forum, generation, German films, Berlinale shorts and retrospective which screen experimental films from around the world without any restrictions to format or genre.
