So Ji-sub set to play detective in new SBS drama

Korean actor So Ji-sub is set to take on the main role lead in an upcoming SBS TV series, according to his promoter's 3HW on Tuesday. A press release from 3HW said that So will play a detective for the first time in his acting career, in a new drama from SBS tentatively titled "Ghost" set to hit airwaves every Wednesday and Thursday nights in May. "Ghost," helmed by producer Kim Hyung-sik from TV series "Sign," "I am a Legend" and "Cain and Abel," will portray So as a workaholic detective named Kim Woo-hyun in the cyber criminal investigative service, who tries to solve crime cases in the cyber world. In the meantime, as a musician, So is gearing up to release his first mini-album that includes his duet song with Bobby Kim and it is set to hit stores in mid-March. So has been pursuing his career in different areas in entertainment industry with his recent one being in publication.
