Korean movie "Pink" has been invited to two international film festivals in Europe next year, according to its production company Dongnyuk Film. An official with Dongnyuk told 10Asia over the phone that Korean director Jeon Soo-il's eighth feature "Pink" will be screened at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival set to take place in Germany in February of next year. The movie has also been invited to the 14th annual Deauville Asian Film Festival to be held in France in March 2012. Previously, Jeon had scored the Critics' Award for his movie "With a Girl of Black Soil" at the 10th edition of the Deauville Asian Film Festival in 2008. "Pink," set to open in local theaters early next year, tells the story of a woman (Lee Seung-yeon) who is pained by an incident at a bar harbor and the owner of the bar (Seo Kap-sook) who raises her handicapped son. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
