Hit Korean film "The Man from Nowhere," starring top Korean actor Won Bin, will open in theaters throughout China tomorrow.The Chinese branch of the Korean Film Council said through a press release on Thursday that the action thriller will show in some 4,000 theaters in the country, a mid-sized release for a movie.It will also be the first Korean film seeing a release in China and will be followed by animation "Leafie, A Hen into the Wild" set for a premiere in the country on September 30.To promote "Man," Won Bin held a press conference for his movie today which was attended by around 100 media outlets and China's three main portal sites and is set to show up at four major theaters in the city tomorrow.The pic, also starring child actor Kim Sae-ron, will be released in Japan the following day."Man," about a reclusive former special agent (Won Bin) who befriends a young girl next door (Kim Sae-ron), dominated Korea's box office for five straight weeks after its release last August and attracted some 6.3 million viewers.The movie also swept last year's Korea Film Awards, taking up prizes in seven categories including best actor, best new actress, best cinematography, best music, best lighting, best visual effects and best editor. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
