BEAST, 2PM, After School place in top 10 of Oricon charts

New releases by K-pop idols BEAST, 2PM and After School have placed within the top ten of Japan's Oricon charts. According to Oricon's weekly chart, BEAST's first full-length album "SO BEAST" came in third place after selling 50,819 since going on sale in the country on August 10. "SO BEAST," produced in three editions, made its debut at the No. 2 spot on Oricon's daily chart upon its release last week. In the meantime, 2PM's second Japanese single "I'm your man," released on August 17, made its debut in third place on Oricon's daily chart with 37,916 units sold and After School's debut single "Bang!" also entered the same chart in sixth place. 2PM recently resumed their activities in Japan with the release of "I'm your man" after promoting "Hands Up" from their second full-length album of the same name in Korea. The boys took the stage at Japan's Saitama Super Arena for the JYP Nation in Japan concert which kicked off last night. After School, who have signed with major Japanese record company AVEX, held their first showcase in Japan in front of some 3,000 fans at the Akasak Blitz last month.
