Pianist Yanni to perform in Korea in October

Famed composer and new age pianist Yanni [All Access]

Famed composer and new age pianist Yanni will hold a concert in Korea in October, according to the concert's promoter All Access. On Friday, All Access announced in a press release that Yanni will perform for "Hyundai Department Store's 40th Anniversary Concert" to be held on October 14 at Jamsil's Olympic Stadium in Seoul. He is the third artist invited to the series of concerts Hyundai Department Store has hosted this year to mark the occasion, following R&B singer Ne-yo and Japanese pianist Yuhki Kuramoto. Yanni, whose full name is Yiannis Hrysomallis, is a self-taught pianist, keyboardist and composer. He has earned Grammy nominations for his albums "Dare to Dream" and "In My Time" and rose to success with "Yanni Live at the Acropolis" which became the second best-selling music video of all time. He has so far performed in over 20 countries worldwide and has more than 35 platinum and gold albums globally under his belt. Yanni released his latest album "Truth of Touch" and is working on expanding his tour to Eastern Europe, Asia and South America.
