2NE1 triumphs on real-time charts with new song 'Lonely'

Korean girl group 2NE1 has triumphed on various online real-time music charts with their new song, according to the respective websites today. The girls' new release "Lonely," which was unveiled yesterday midnight along with its full-length music video, took the No. 1 spot on the online music charts of Cyworld, Daum, Naver, MelOn, Soribada, Mnet, Bugs, Dosirak and Monkey 3 today. "Lonely," which incorporates guitar, bass and other sting instruments, is a slow pop tune that expresses the loneliness a person feels regarding love while being in a relationship. Meanwhile, the girls are set to release their upcoming mini-album on June 23 that includes a total of six tracks, all of which they will promote, by revealing a new track every three weeks.
