“Shy Boy” sweeps trophies at 'Music Bank', 'Inkigayo'

Girl group Secret’s title song “Shy Boy” swept the major televised music shows of KBS and SBS last weekend. Secret’s “Shy Boy” rejoiced over their third consecutive win on KBS’ weekly music program “Music Bank” last Friday followed by their first win on SBS’ “Inkigayo” on Sunday. This is the song’s total fifth win, combining its earlier victory at music cable program Mnet’s weekly music show “M! CountDown," which is aired every Thursday.On Sunday’s show, Secret’s leader Jun Hyo-seong, upon receiving the award, expressed her thanks to her fans, composers and agency while the other members shed tears of joy that continued up till their encore performance. “We give our thanks to fans who have shown much love to us. We’ll keep up with the good job to continue to meet your expectations,” said Secret’s agency TS Entertainment via press release during the same day. “Shy Boy,” a cheerful dance number based on swing music composed by hit-composers Kang Ji-won and Kim Ki-bum, is the title track to the girls’ first single album released early last month.
