Korean pop sensation TVXQ has held their first fan meeting as a duo in Japan to celebrate the release of their album "Why (Keep Your Head Down).” The boys performed their title track "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" and "MAXIMUM" and met with over 15,000 fans at the event which was held at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba City on February 8. "I am really happy this moment. We will work hard to lead an active singing career in Japan," TVXQ member U-Know Yunho said. "I have also resumed studying Japanese and I hope to sing in front of many of our fans in the future." The two have enjoyed a successful return to the music scene in Japan, claiming the No. 1 spot on the monthly singles chart with "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" which has sold over 231,000 copies just six days of its release on January 26. Meanwhile, Korean drama "Paradise Farm," which stars TVXQ member Changmin and actress Lee Yeon-hee, will air on Japan's Digital Adventure TV (DATV) starting May, while the cast will visit the country from February till April for press conferences and interviews. U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin both made their debut in the five-member boy band TVXQ, composed of other members Xiah Junsu, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yuchun and U-Know Yunho, in 2004. However, after disputing with agency SM Entertainment over the unfairness of their 13-year exclusive contract, Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu halted their activities as TVXQ and instead formed trio JYJ. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
