Hip-hop artists T-Pain, Akon to hold concert in March 2011

American hip-hop artists T-Pain and Akon will be visiting Korea next year for their first-ever concert in the country.An official from concert promoter OnSpot Korea revealed that T-Pain and Akon will hold a joint concert in March of next year, adding that an official date will be announced at a later time. T-Pain was originally scheduled to take part in the "OnSpot Hip-hop Festival" in Korea on October 30 but the show was cancelled due to low ticket sales. T-Pain began his music career in rap group Nappy Headz in 2004. He recorded and released his debut album "Rappa Ternt Sanga" on December 2005 which was certified Gold for selling over 500,000 copies. He has worked with the biggest names in hip-hop such as Fabolous, Chris Brown, Flo Rida and Kayne West. Akon rose to fame with the release of his debut album "Trouble" and was nominated for a Grammy Award for his single "Smack That" from his second record "Konvicted." He has had six Grammy Awards nominations and produced hits for international stars such as Lady Gaga, Colby O'Donis and Leona Lewis.
