Korean film “Secrets, Objects,” starring actress Jang Seo-hee and actor Jung Suk-won, will be released in Japan in two months' time.

A PR rep from Jang’s agency S Plus Entertainment told the magazine Tuesday that the accredited film will meet the Japanese film lovers on December 1.

“Secrets, Objects,” female filmmaker Lee Young-mi's debut feature pic, pivots around a college professor in her 40s falling in love with a guy 21 years younger than herself. The movie received rave reviews by telling the story from inanimate objects' perspective.

The acclaimed pic sold out its tickets in just nine minutes in the 12th Jeonju International Film Festival [JIFF], and invited to international film festivals in Montreal, Canada and Moscow, Russia before its local release in November last year.

The prohibited love story also flew to the sixth Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival in the United States and won the BEST of FEST award, which is relevant to the top prize, in March.
