K-pop kings Super Junior’s Lee Teuk is readying himself to heat up Seoul’s baseball park tonight.
The singer will throw the opening pitch for Seoul-based baseball team Doosan Bears at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, Korea, Tuesday at 6 p.m. KST, SM Entertainment said in a press release this morning.
On Sunday, the multi-talented idol surprised his fans via his official Twitter message that read, “I’m throwing the first ball at a baseball game on Tuesday..Sorry for being a man above all^^;;I’ll do my best!!!”
The idol star's witty apology came as celebrity pitchers for Korean baseball games are conventionally done by female stars like f(x)'s Krystal and actress Park Shin-hye.
Supporting the soon-to-be-enlisted singer, his three bandmates Shindong, Eunhyuk, Sungmin will give their surprise performance at the scene tonight, the agency added.
The “Sexy, Free & Single” singer is set to enter the army to fulfill his two-year mandatory military service on October 30. He is the second member in the group to temporarily leave the team to serve the duty.
