Cable music channel Mnet has released photos of Thursday's "M!CountDown," where T-ara took the center stage with their lead single off the newly released EP album.

The girls successfully returned to the stage in about a month after getting into the alleged bullying controversy of former member Hwa-young.

Despite their rough beginning with the "Little T-ara" controversy, the "Lovey-Dovey" singers ambitiously kicked off their new start of "SEXY LOVE," the title song of "MIRAGE," and received rave reviews from music critics.

Earlier this week, the popstresses had been the target of public criticism as Core Contents Media, T-ara's agency, announced that seven young girls who resemble the members of T-ara will join the team for the first live performance of "SEXY LOVE."

The point in dispute was the title or the theme of "SEXY LOVE" deemed highly inappropriate for the under-aged "Little T-ara" and the incident fired up the growing public anger.

However, when the pre-recorded performances of "SEXY LOVE" and "LOVE ALL," the Viewer's Opinion board on the show's official website began to be filled with mixed reactions to T-ara.

"I want to know what the producers were thinking, ignoring the public's opinion [over T-ara]. For who is this program for?," wrote an angry viewer.

Other satisfied fans also expressed their thoughts about the show, refuting to such negative posts.

"Their stage was absolutely perfect. The choreography fits so well with the tune and it's highly addictive."

Meanwhile, the group is set to launch its overseas activities and hold concerts from mid-September to the end of November in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan.
