KARA’s Gu Hara talks what is in her "PANDORA" box

K-pop girl group KARA’s Gu Hara has revealed her proudest feature inherited from her parents, an analogy to how Greek mythological character Pandora received a box full of charms from Zeus.

At the press conference held before KARA's 5th Mini-album "PANDORA" showcase at the Walkerhill hotel in Seoul on August 22, the five songstress gave witty and honest answers to a question asking what they think their greatest legacies are.

"I don't really get fat compared to how much I eat. I feel so grateful to my parents for giving that gift to me,” the singer known for her slender figure said while receiving a sharp of jealousy from other members.

"As a downside to that, it was not easy for me to have a glamorous figure and that has inspired me to work out harder. Now I’m happy that many people are recognizing some changes in my figure,” Gu added with a pleasing smile.

In the showcase, the “STEP” singers staged the first live performances of the new title tune “PANDORA,” and another brand-new track “Miss U” to about 300 long-awaited fans donned in black jackets, the dress code notified to the audience before the event.

Composed of Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, KARA made their debut with the first full-length album "The First Bloooooming" in 2007 and expanded their singing career into Japan in 2010.

KARA is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups that has broken into the Japanese music market, achieving gold statuses 11 times with their singles since making their official debut in the country in 2010.
