Korean singer PSY is receiving a flooding response abroad after being mentioned by international celebrities online and American news network CNN's coverage of his smashing hit "Gangnam Style" got posted online on August 2.
The 36-year-old singer’s “Gangnam Style,” the title tune of his sixth studio album "Six Rules, Part. 1," is going viral after his music video has been viewed by Hollywood big names such as hip-hop artist T-pain, singers Josh Groban and Robie Williams.
“Words cannot even describe how amazing this video is," T-Pain wrote on his official Twitter account on July 29, attaching the link to the music video that has already hit over 11 million views on YouTube as of August 3.
The American hip-hop guru did not stop there in showing his excitement over the clip and posted two more tweets about "Gangnam Style" on August 1.
In addition to T-pain, British artist Robbie Williams recommend PSY’s video on his blogs July 29 saying, “P.S TRY WATCHING THIS AND NOT SMILING I DARE YOU….”
Jumping into the “Gangnam Style” syndrome, news channel CNN covered the booming sensation of the tune and its music video on August 2. For about two minutes and 15 seconds, the CNN reporter delivered the news about PSY's hit song going viral online.
The tune has been topping the major music charts in and out of Korea for two consecutive weeks, including Gaon chart and Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100 chart.
