K-pop boy band BEAST perched atop Mnet’s televised live music show “M! CountDown” Thursday, after going neck-and-neck with BoA and PSY.

On last evening's episode of "M!CountDown," the six-member group grabbed the trophy for the funky electronic tune “Beautiful Night,” the title track of their fifth mini-album “Midnight Sun,”

“First of all, I'd like to say thank you to our parents and the C.E.O. of our agency Cube Entertainment, Mr. Hong," BEAST member Yong Jun-hyung said during their acceptance speech.

The rapper then added, "I appreciate all our staff members' help and the composer of ‘Beautiful Night,’ Sinsa-dong Tiger. We promise that we’ll work harder to show better performances.”

Yang Yo-seop, the group’s lead vocal, kept raising the trophy to the beat of “Beautiful Night,” expressing his excitement and appreciation to fans’ support.

Last night's "M!CountDown" marked the show's 300th episode anniversary and organizers arranged several events to celebrate the day, including special performances by a few K-pop artists and video clips of stars sending congratulatory messages.

Last three weeks’ winner Super Junior lighted up the stage with their hit tunes, “Mr. Simple” and “Sexy, Free & Single,” alongside a preview stage of “SPY.”

The James Bond-themed tune is the boys' new title track from the repackaged album to “Sexy, Free & Single.”

Queen of K-pop BoA teamed up with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk for her new title tune “Only One,” and a rookie singer Juniel put on a special performance of Lee Hyo-ri’s “U-Go-Girl” and Girls’ Generation TTS’ “Twinkle.”

Along with the specially arranged performances, other popular K-pop artists including 2PM's Jang Woo-young, SISTAR, B.A.P and A-JAX also graced the stage.
