Five-member boy band MBLAQ is set to hold additional shows in Japan this September for their ongoing Asia tour.
The concert's promoter, CJ E&M, announced in a press release Thursday that MBLAQ will hold a second round of their "THE BLAQ% TOUR" in Yokohama on September 8 and 9.
The large-scale tour comes as no surprise since MBLAQ has already performed in front of sold-out crowds in Japan, including the Japan leg of the tour held at the Orix Hall in Osaka on July 26 and 27 and the Tokyo International Forum hosted in Tokyo on July 30 and 31.
"We didn't think that the atmosphere during the Japan leg of our tour was going to be so great but it felt really good to hear that the shows have been all sold out,” the members of MBLAQ were quoted as saying.
The group added that they plan on performing their best for the Taiwan leg of the tour and during the additional shows to open in Japan.
Kicking off "THE BLAQ% TOUR" in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 30, MBLAQ has performed in front of several thousand fans in Thailand on July 7, two shows in Seoul starting July 21, four shows in Japan beginning July 26 -- two sets each in Osaka and Tokyo.
In the meantime, the boys are gearing up to hold a concert in Taiwan on August 18 with their hit songs "Oh Yeah," "Y," "Stay" and “Mona Lisa." The officials said the team will also put on special performances by Mir and G.O singing their duet song "Wild" and Cheon-dung singing his solo ballad "Don't Go" (translated title).
