Stories about KangNam of hip-hop group M.I.B's unusual family background and his short career in the music scene will be revealed on a TV show tonight.
Jungle Entertainment officials said in a press release on Wednesday that KangNam talked candidly about his life as a newcomer in the music scene and as a Korean born in Japan, during a taping of KBS' talk show "Happy Together 3."
The theme of this week's episode is the “Rookies in Entertainment Area,” in which members of popular artists such as 2AM's Jo Kwon, 2PM's Wooyoung, SISTAR's Dasom and Bora, Eun Ji-won and KangNam were invited to talk candidly about the early period of their musical career.
The agency officials said that this is KangNam's first talk show experience and he opened up funny episodes happened over his clumsy Korean, such as getting into quarrelS with other group members.
KangNam, the vocalist of the hip-hop group, has been active in both acting and music career. He has concurrently pursued his acting career by starring in sitcom “21st-Century Family” on tvN between March and April.
Consisted of 5Zic, Cream, SIMS and KangNam, M.I.B made their debut with first album “Most Incredible Busters” in 2011. The boys recently returned to the local music scene with the mini-album “Illusion” in May.
