Top Korean girl group 2NE1 has announced their second concert tour in Japan, revealed their official Japanese website on Thursday.
Coming in about a year after their first successful six-set tour in Japan last September, 2NE1 will bring a new round of performances by kicking off their tour at the Osaka Castle in Osaka, Japan on September 1 and 2.
The girls will then hold two shows at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan on September 7 and 8 and two more runs at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan on September 11 and 12.
2NE1, formed of Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, has been one of the iconic K-pop girl groups in Korea known for their music and fashion since making their debut in May, 2009.
Their singing career in Japan, which began in September, 2011, took off to a smooth start as well. The girls did not waste much time to top Oricon's weekly album chart and Apple iTunes' Japan's international and pop album charts, with debut mini-album "NOLZA," upon its release.
Their next album, the first original Japanese single "GO AWAY," kept up their popularity on a roll by sitting at No. 9 on Oricon's daily album chart on the day of its release last November.
