Girls' Generation's TTS grabs third win on weekend's TV music programs

Girls' Generation's sub-unit group TTS held onto their No. 1 title with "TWINKLE" for the third week on televised music programs over the weekend.

The unit group -- composed of Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun -- scored their third consecutive win on Friday's KBS "Music Bank" and Sunday's SBS "Inkigayo."

"It is unbelievable that we were given our third trophy in straight weeks. We thank our fans and will work harder during our activities," Girls' Generation's TTS' member Taeyeon said during their acceptance speech.

"TWINKLE," which exudes Moulin Rouge feeling coupled with Girl's Generation's style, has recorded big on many domestic and international charts since its release on April 30, including Billboard.com's Billboard 200, Mnet's music program "M! CountDown" and Gaon's singles chart.

The trio unit made their official debut as part of the nine-member group Girls' Generation in 2007. They have numerous hit songs under their belt including "Gee," "Oh!," "Run Devil Run," "Tell Me Your Wish," "MR. TAXI" and "The Boys."
