Girl group A PINK's member Son Na-eun has confirmed that she will take part in SBS' new TV series.

On Tuesday, A PINK's agency A Cube Entertainment told 10Asia over a phone interview that Son will be making her acting debut in a historical series tentatively titled, "Daepungsoo"(Romanized Korean).

"We have not signed the papers yet but Son has decided to join the drama," A Cube's official said.

According to the agency, the drama revolves around major figures in late Koryo Dynasty that played major roles in establishing the Joseon Dynasty with the first king of Joseon, Lee Sung-kye.

The idol is reportedly set to play the childhood days of the female lead, which is most likely to be portrayed by singer-turned-actress Eugene.

Meanwhile, Son just made her comeback to the music scene as A PINK with the group's first full-length album, "UNE ANNEE."

The "It Girl" singers, who appeared in the mainstream K-pop with debut record "Seven Springs of A PINK" in 2011, are actively promoting the title of the album, "HUSH."
