Korean idols 2PM and 2AM will team up to sing a theme song for their upcoming Japanese documentary film.
The two K-pop groups -- who will go by the name "2PM+2M" -- will sing "ONE DAY" for their documentary titled "Beyond the ONEDAY~Story of 2PM & 2AM~" set to open in theaters on June 30, 2AM's promoter Big Hit Entertainment announced on Tuesday.
The documentary will include live performances from "JYP NATION in Japan 2011," where 2PM and 2AM had staged joint stages, backstage scenes and the members' in-depth interviews.
It will also feature the members' daily lives as K-pop singers since their official debut in 2008.
2PM, composed of Nickhun, Taecyeon, Chansung, Junsu, Wooyoung and Junho, made their debut in Japan in November, 2010. The boys recently released their greatest hits album in the country which fared well on Oricon's music charts.
The group will release their fourth Japanese single "Beautiful" on June 6. The song has already been revealed in Japan and used as the song for a Japanese TV commercial.
Meanwhile, 2AM--composed of members Jo Kwon, Changmin, Seulong and Jinwoon-- expanded their singing career into Japan in January this year by dropping their first single "Never let you go."
The boys followed it up with their second Japanese single which includes their ballads "You Didn't Answer My Call" and "Like Crazy."
