SBS' TV series "Salaryman, Cho Han Ji" will be extended by two more episodes, according to the major broadcaster on Tuesday.
A PR official with SBS told 10Asia over the phone that "Salaryman," which is originally a 20-part series, will air for two more episodes and end its run on March 13.
"We were taken aback since the drama had a slow start but we had confidence that the ratings would rise since 'Salaryman' is written by famed scenarists Jang Young-chul and Jung Kyung-soo," the official explained.
"Salaryman," starring Lee Bum-soo and Jung Ryeo-won, tells the story of Yoo Bang (Lee) who takes part in a clinical trial of a project for Chunha Group. He meets Choi Hang-woo (played by actor Jung Gyu-woon) who plans to wreck the company.
The series, also starring Hong Soo-hyun, recently hit the 20 percent mark on the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup.
