Korean action picture "War on Crime: the Golden Age of Bad Guys" stood firmly atop the local box office during the second weekend of February.
On Monday, KOBIS (Korea Box Office Information System) reported that "War on Crime," starring Choi Min-shik and Ha Jung-woo, placed well ahead of its competitors for the second time with 830,027 moviegoers during its weekend run from February 10 to 12.
Yoon Jong-bin's third feature "War on Crime" tells the story of men that strived to support their families during the turbulent 1980s when corruption, collusion and nepotism was high.
Meanwhile, Uhm Jung-hwa and Hwang Jung-min starrer "Dancing Queen" reclaimed the No. 2 spot with 282,933 admissions while "Unbowed," featuring Ahn Sung-ki, was pushed back to third place with 257,195 tickets sold.
Other movies on the top ten included "Legends Of Valhalla - THOR," "Speckles: The Tarbosaurus 3D," "PaPa," "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 3D," "War Horse," "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and "Happy Feet 2."
