All 1,500 tickets to Hallyu star Lee Joon-gi's first fan meeting to be held after his military discharge next month have sold out.

A press release from his agency Interactive Media Mix (IMX) announced that tickets for Lee's fan event "Reunion JG" which will take place at the Sangmyung Art Center in Seoul on February 16 sold out within a minute of going on sale yesterday.

The upcoming event will mark Lee's return to being a civilian after fulfilling his mandatory two-year military service. He entered the military in May 2010 and is currently serving his duties as a solider in the Defense Media Agency.

"I want to express my sincerest thanks to all my fans that have waited for my return," Lee said in the statement, adding that he will repay their support through his next project.

Meanwhile, tickets to Lee's upcoming fan meeting tour in Japan "COMING BACK" which is scheduled for the Century Hall in Nayoga on March 16, Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama two days later and wrap up at the Grand Cube in Osaka on March 19 have sold out as well.

Lee shot to stardom after starring in the 2005 hit movie "The King and the Clown" and has since starred in TV series "My Girl," "Iljimae" and "Hero."
