Korean idol groups Super Junior and 2NE1 celebrated their respective wins on televised music programs over the weekend.
Super Junior scored their first win on KBS' Friday music program "Music Bank" with their title track "Mr. Simple" from their fifth full-length album of the same name.
"We want to thank everyone from our album producers to the staff at SM Entertainment," Super Junior's leader Lee Teuk said during their acceptance. "We also want to thank our ELFs [official name of Super Junior's fan] because we were able to receive this award with their support."
Meanwhile, female quartet 2NE1 received their second consecutive Mutizen Award on SBS' Sunday program "Inkigayo."
The girls gave their encore performance after thanking everyone at YG Entertainment and their fans. "We hope that we will see everyone at our upcoming concert!"
Other contenders on both shows were MBLAQ, INFINITE, T-ara, miss A, ZE:A, SISTAR and Mighty Mouth.
