2NE1 dominates real-time music charts with "UGLY"

Korean female idols 2NE1 has dominated a number of online music charts with their latest song "UGLY."

"UGLY," the new title track from the girls' second mini-album released yesterday midnight, has topped the real-time music charts of Naver, Mnet, Dosirak, Bugs, MelOn, Soribada, Cyworld and Daum.

The song, about a girl who believes she is not beautiful compared to other girls, is one of the six tracks to 2NE1's latest release which also includes past chart-toppers "Don't Cry," "Lonely," "Hate you," "I am the Best" and bonus tune "Don't Stop the Music."

2NE1, formed of members Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, is known as one of the most popular girl groups since making their debut in May 2009.

The quartet will hold their first concert titled "NOLZA" at the Olympic Park Hall for three days starting August 26 and kick off their concert tour in Japan the following month.
