4minute Hyun-a and MBLAQ Lee Joon not dating

The agencies of Korean idols Hyun-a of girl group 4minute and Lee Joon of boy band MBLAQ have denied rumors that the two are dating.

People had started speculating the two were in a romantic relationship after spotting them flying on an airplane from Japan to Korea together last week.

"The rumors about Hyun-a and Lee Joon are completely false," an official from Cube Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday, adding that the artists had been returning home after shooting the music video for the title track to Hyun-a's upcoming solo album.

Lee Joon's agency J.Tune Camp played down the rumor as well, explaining that he was there for Hyun-a's music video shoot and the two are just friends.

Hyun-a made her debut as the rapper of five-member girl group 4minute in 2009. She is currently preparing to release her second solo album on July 5.

Lee Joon is the rapper of his five-member boy band MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality). The boys are gearing up for their first solo concert "MEN IN MBLAQ" in August.
