Korean idol Lee Joon of boy band MBLAQ is currently resting from an ear ailment, according to his agency J.Tune Entertainment on Tuesday.
"Lee Joon underwent examination at a hospital and was diagnosed with having a problem with his cochlea. He is resting at the moment," a PR official from J.Tune told 10Asia over the phone.
Lee Joon had been unable to perform with the members of his group on SBS' televised Sunday music show "Inkigayo" after suddenly vomiting ahead of going on the program.
MBLAQ, already one man short with Mir still recovering from surgery to his back, instead gave a special Valentine's performance composed of members Cheon Dung, Seung Ho and G.O. alongside girl group f(x) member Sulli.
When asked about the future of the group's upcoming activities, she answered that the agency is currently in talks and the decision will come later on today.
Lee Joon is the rapper of the five-member boy band MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality). The group made their debut in 2009 with their single album "JUST BLAQ" and followed it up with their second single "Y" in May 2009.
The boys have been promoting their latest song "Stay" from their first full-length album "BLAQ Style" since early last month and are set to release their repackaged album at the end of February.
